Quick note just to say hi... I realized last month Scully's birthday was coming up but didn't think anyone else would remember. I found this comm literally a couple of days ago and was thrilled to learn just how wrong I was!

this? is lovely. for some reason my favourite part is that there's a rule for him not calling her after he's been watching the discovery channel. i just... it's helplessly sweet and wonderful and is now part of my head canon. thank you.

I like this a lot. The dialogue is great, her internal monologue sounds just like the Scully in my head. Well, yours might be a little nicer than mine. If I wasn't so frigging sick I'd have something more coherent to say. I'm really happy that you found us.

I'm still reading all the posts from this year, and I have to say that I'm loving it. I tend to appreciate fandom from a safe distance because... well, the crazy... but this has been a really enjoyable experience. Thank you.

Thank you so much! I'm happy you liked it! I can't guarantee anything, but I have a couple of ideas for case-type fics floating around in my head. Now that I feel reasonably reassured I can pull off the characterization, I might try my hand at an actual plot. lol

I think the The Usual Suspects is one of those polarizing films like The Big Lebowski or True Romance, where you either really like it or don't see what the big deal is about. I understand both opinions, but I have to admit that I, like 'my' Scully, am fond of needlessly convoluted plots enacted by pretty men. Come to think of it, that might have had at least a little something to do with why I first started watching The X-Files... I came for the pretty, but I stayed for the awesome.

Please. Don't make me beg. I am dying for new casefic. I'm so desperate I might have to write it myself.

I promise to start on the story this week...but I write slowly so it might be a few before you see anything posted. It's coming though, and it will be a multi-chapter story.
