this episode hits my trust kink so hard. scully's greatest fear is being betrayed by mulder. and then she goes to her mother's place because she's afraid. and her mother talks her down! and it's just epic and beautiful and i love it.
the psychology/psychiatry makes no sense, but let's pretend like it does. it's easier that way.
